How has the price of oil affected the temp. in your home?

The rich get richer and the poor get frozen. Do you think those who are making billions because they are making high heating bills feel guilty? Do they not think of the poor children who are freezing? How has the price of oil affected the temp. in your home?
No they don't think about freezing the children nor do they feel guilty. But back to the original question, no it has not changed the temprature on our home. However, we do not run the heater at night anymore. We keep it at a comfartable 70. There are others on fixed incomes who cannot afford to keep the thermostat that high, my mom for one. Those people do not get a fair shake. Don't have enough money to pay their heating bills, electric bills, etc. Just buying food puts a big dent in the income. And insurance, the older you get, the more expensive it gets. I think it should be the other way around. The ones who can least afford things are the ones who are affected the most. We are not far from being on fixed income and I am so not looking forward to it. To all out there, try to stay warm, and just hope spring gets here soon.
